Review: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green [BOOK]

Title: The Fault in Our Stars
Author: John Green
Rating: 10/10

What I thought:
Me, Being only 13 while reading this, found a few parts difficult. I'm not very educated on cancers and all that stuff, but as I read on, the book became more clear to me, as of what was happening, and what it was all about. And now, after reading it, I do feel more educated actually, which is good I guess.
I finished the book last week, and oh my gosh, let me just say that it was perfect! I decided to start it just before school was out last June. It being August at the moment, you can see it took me a while to read. I didn't read it very often, but I always wanted to. I just never found the time though the activities and stuff that I do. I just read some nights, and when I was bored with nothing to do.
Okay, first. The way John Green writes-- He is an amazing writer! I have decided that he is my favorite author and that I absolutely love the formation he writes in. Its all amazing.
So, I heard about this book on Tumblr, actually, and everyone was going on about how amazing it was, and how it made them cry (which I thought was rediculous because I didn't think a book could make you cry), But I'll admit. I did cry a few times in the reading of this book.
I love Augustus Waters. He is just like, so perfect, and sweet and I love his sarcasm and literacy in the book. The end of the book kills me, which it probably did to every other person who read the book, and my stomach drops just thinking about it. But, it was very well put together and ended. Hazel Grace, who I also had a character interest in, was just like Augustus, which made them perfect. Everything was just perfect.
I did think the book was very depressing, but the most depressing thing about the book is after you read it, and you wish there was more. I seriously wish I could just read that book forever without it ever ending. It was so perfect, like I've already said that a million times, but you really don't understand my feelings until you read it. Although it was depressing, I feel like it was a good kind of depressing feeling, which sounds so weird but whatever. I get what I'm talking about.
I just want to read it again, which I can see happening in my future.
But, basically I just want to say that you need to read this book. Even if you hate reading, this book will seriously make you want to read. Over and over.

My favorite quote(s): "Okay" omg just kidding. But I had a few: "The marks humans too often leave are scars" & "My thoughts are stars I cannot fanthom into constellations"

Review: The Conjuring

Last night, I went to see the highly popular, new horror movie, The Conjuring!

Let me tell you what I thought:
My final decision on it was that the movie was fantastic! The whole movie was basically the old fashioned scaring, such as lights flickering, doors opening, and clocks stopping.
Apart from all the times the audience jumped from startling moments in the  movie, the whole audience seemed to be enjoying it.
There were many moments during the movie it would leave you waiting what would happen, and have an unexpecting scare.
The movie is rated R, only for the frightening level, and a few words of foul language. Nothing a 13+ year old wouldn't be able to see or hear, though.
In the movie, you see the actual demon a few times, which is very frightening, and leaves the whole audience thowing their popcorn in startle. (Which actually did happen)
But I have to say, if your a fan of horror movies, like The Last Exorcism, or Paranormal Activity, you'd definatly love the adrenalin rush and scare this movies gives you!
I would say not to take anyone under 12 to the movie who isn't used to scary movies!

Review: One Direction Concert!

Last night, One Direction continued their 2013 Take Me Home tour in Minnesota in a stadium that holds about 27,000 people, and I got to be one of them.

So basically, this is how my day went:
at 5:30pm, I got on the light rail, downtown to where the stadium is. After getting off the light rail, which was also filled with so many Directioners, we all walked about a block, to the place the boys were performing.
So around 6pm we got to the stadium, we had to wait outside in 98 degrees, until finally getting inside at 7pm. At this point, most of us were freaking out, because we didn't think we'd make it by 7:30 which was show time.
I got inside and bought a tank top that says "Live While We're Young TMH tour 2013" on it, which I have to say, was quite pricey!
5 seconds of summer began performing at 7:30pm, which at that time, I was just entering the stadium. I went to the consessions to get a tank top at that time, then I literally ran to the bathrooms to change. Once I was changed, we went into the area where, at the time, 5SOS (One Direction's opening band) was performing. We got to out seats and enjoyed the show!
At around 8:45pm One Direction got on stage. By this point, I met the girl I was sitting by, who was my age, which was not hard to do at a One Direction concert, considering we payed to see these boys perform, and we were obviously both fans.
Once 1D came on stage, everyone started screaming, and crying, and me and the girl next to me were like, freaking out!
One Direction performed about 22 songs, including songs from Take Me Home & the deluxe, Up All Night & the deluxe, & Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus!
The boys answered 2 twitter questions which were funny! The questions were "Do a Minnesotan accent?" which the boys pernounced "Minnesotan" wrong, and allowed a girl to pronounce it for them! Lucky her!
The other question was one we all know, which was: "If you could, would you go back in time, or forward to the future?"
After the boys' performed, all 27,000 of us left! I got back on the light rail, at 12pm and it was so packed! It was unbelievable!
When I got home, I was having major post concert depression, but I'm so happy I got to go! <3

Review:
Prices: I honestly think that everything at a One Direction concert is over priced. As much as I love them, I have to say its true.
My tank top: $40.00
A Lemonaid: $7.00
Tickets: Prices varied from: $5000-$200
Programs: $20

Performance: The show was absolutely worth it! No matter how much you paid for your tickets, its all worth it because the boys perform so perfectly, and they keep the show going so smoothly!

Other than that: The show is perfect!

Comment below what the last concert you went to was, and if you have ever been to a 1D concert!
